I’m still fascinated by TLC’s new series Extreme Couponing and in particular, the stock-rooms the couponers have, which are filled with organized piles and rows of their discounted treasure. The preview for this week’s episode features a woman who not only had a room for her collected bargain items, but also a room for her coupons.
As envious as I am of the people who score amazing deals on things like cereal and laundry detergent, looking at this woman’s coupon room only reaffirms my belief that any attempt I make to be an extreme couponer will likely work out about as well as that time I thought I wanted to start scrapbooking. The remains of that brief hobby are stuffed in a bin in a closet somewhere. I’m simply not organized or dedicated enough for that kind of hobby. Maybe that’s why the couponers fascinate me so much.
