Homeland Season 2 20-Minute Sneak Peek: Watch It Here And A New Teaser

Late this month, Showtime will bring their intense drama/thriller Homeland back for its second season. We've already seen some promos for the new season, and now the pay-cable network is giving fans its biggest bite of the second season premiere yet. Showtime released the first twenty minutes of the premiere episode online today. Check it out ahead! And for those who just want a teaser, we also have the new promo for you to check out.

The video begins with the opening credits and a helpful video recap that runs through the important points of the series' first season, including the developing relationship between CIA office Carrie Matthison (Claire Danes) and former POW and potential terrorist Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), the investigation, and Brody's assassination attempt. The recap doesn't cut into the promised twenty-minutes of the Season 2, however. The video below runs for more than twenty-six minutes in total.

The latest teaser for Homeland has Nicholas Brody appearing as an upstanding citizen as he makes a campaign speech. His family stands behind him proudly, and on the podium. "Keeping America On Target." Chilling words when you consider what Brody's secret plans might be…

What's even more disturbing, the flashes of things Brody wouldn't want these people to know about, like killing Walker, or the flash of Abu Nazir's face. Creepy!

The full season premiere is set to air on Showtime on Sunday, September 30 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
