Scandal Clips From Boom Goes The Dynamite Tease Tension And Politics

Judging by the clips we have to show you from tomorrow night's episode of Scandal, the series is headed back toward its original format, in being a bit less focused on Olivia and Fitz's relationship and a bit more on those suited gladiators we all came to know and love in the first season of the ABC drama. At least, for this episode anyway.

Oh, I'm sure the next installment in the Olivia and Fitz saga is just around the corner, but in the meantime, there are other matters to tend to, like David's situation. The first clip shows Olivia and her people discussing their next course of action, which includes Huck keeping an eye on David. But who's keeping an eye on Huck?

Seems more like the gladiators have their noses on Huck. What's the deal with him not showering? Something's definitely going on there. If he's tasked to watch David, perhaps David will address the hygiene situation and get to the bottom of it.

And then there's the matter of guest star Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty).. Apparently, Olivia and her team are hired by Mabius' character Peter Caldwell, an up and coming politician who needs them to play "high-powered matchmaker," which seems to be where this clip comes in. Mabius is in background of the scene, as Olivia lectures a man (Sam Page) on how being single doesn't work for a male politician.

Those who are holding out hope for some Olivia/Fitz moments may get their wish. These photos from the episode suggest the two will - at the very least - be in the same room together (and looking really good in the process.
