Itís hard to believe, but WarpPortalís free-to-play MMORPG, Ragnarok Online 2: Advent of Valkyrie is already a year old. To celebrate, the developer is hosting a slew of special events and promotions in commemoration of 12 months of questing, battling and looting.
Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second is gearing up for a May 1 launch, something that fans of the series and beta testers likely already knew. What you probably didnít know, however, is that the free-to-play fantasy MMORPG will also be launching day and date on Steam.
Itís going to be a busy year for those warriors still fighting following the end of the world. The original Ragnarok Online continues to evolve, Ragnarok Online 2 is gearing up to launch and, starting next month, Ragnarok Online: Valkyrie Uprising will be bringing the fantasy MMORPG love to mobile devices through iTunes and Google Play.
Itís the end of the world as we know it, and Ragnarok is officially upon us. I am, of course, referring to the new free-to-play MMORPG, Ragnarok Online 2, which today finally heads into open beta. Originally set to enter the open beta phase on Dec. 26, the sheer popularity of Gravity and Asiasoftís newest offering caused the Ragnarok Online 2 servers to grind to an immediate halt.
Well, it looks like more than a few gamers out there were excited to jump into the Ragnarok Online 2 open beta. So many, in fact, that the servers were unable to handle the stress and brought the beta to a grinding halt. Never fear, though, as Asiasoft Online has announced a new launch date of Jan. 3 to get everything back on track.
