APB: Reloaded Gets Euro Distributor, Releasing January, 2012
While North Americans will be experiencing APB: Reloaded in retail next month in December, Euro gamers will have to wait until January to pick up a boxed copy of the game, which comes with exclusive premium content, items and cash shop bonuses.
Given the mammoth size of the download for APB: Reloaded it only makes sense that the game have an optional disc-based version. It’ll definitely make it easy for people who want to install multiple copies of the game on different machines.
GamersFirst has announced that picking up a retail version of the Criminals vs Enforcers open-world action MMO for Europeans will be available starting the first month of next year, and that the game will be distributed by Iceberg Interactive.
Rahul Sandil, Senior Vice President of Marketing at GamersFirst commented in the press release, saying…
“GamersFirst has been looking for a partner who can help us revolutionize retail distribution for Free2Play games in Europe. With Iceberg Interactive, we have found the perfect partner. Our pricing model for APB Reloaded actually pays a gamer to come try the game. This is unprecedented for a title which cost more than seventy million dollars to produce,“
GamersFirst has definitely made back the money in the short time that APB: Reloaded has been in open beta. However, for those of you out there who decide to purchase the game from retail you will receive a permanent primary weapon, a permanent specially customized vehicle, a 30 day premium access card, a 20 percent cash shop discount, and increased cash and experience bonuses, all for only €19.99. That’s really not a bad deal at all.
You can look for All Points Bulletin: Reloaded to hit store shelves in North America this December and in Euro territories beginning January, 2012. For more information on the game be sure to visit the Official Website.
