This December, id Software's classic shooter DOOM will turn 20 years old. Symbiote Studios is commemorating this anniversary by releasing a vinyl figure modeled after the game's space marine hero.

DOOM, id's follow-up to Wolfenstein 3D, takes place on a research facility on Mars. A top-secret experiment goes wrong and a portal to Hell is opened. The lone marine battles the armies of demons throughout the facility. The game is credited with popularizing the first-person shooter genre.

The 3.5-inch space marine figure is clad in his signature green armor. He comes with a BFG-9000 and a helmet. The helmet can be removed to reveal his pissed-off face.

You can pre-order the figure at Symbiote's website. The product will be available on May 15th. It'll set you back $20.

This might be the only new Doom product we'll see for awhile, as id is taking their sweet time with Doom 4.
