Gamigo released a new gameplay trailer for the MMO Otherland, based on Tad Williams' series of sci-fi books. The game is pretty much unlike any other game out there or any game you've played before.

First and foremost, the cyber-themes and futuristic elements look astonishing in the game. It's a marvel to see just how complex and yet uniformly artistic the environments are. What's more is that the game isn't just this cyber-punk fantasy world...there's a lot more to it than that. Also, the dub-step trance just helps bring it all together. Check it out in the trailer below.

There's a strong hint of Omikron meets Alice in Wonderland going on with that game. However, the real highlight is how players can siphon DNA from objects, creatures and life-forms scattered throughout the universe of Otherland and create their very own world. Not only that, this world becomes persistent and can be shared with the rest of the game world. Amazing, right?

This is one of those groundbreaking MMOs that probably deserves a lot more coverage than what it's receiving. Still, it's a great looking game and I can't wait to see more of it.

You can sign-up for more information or browse through media for the game by paying a visit to the Official Otherland Website.
