2 Dawn Games' upcoming, post-apocalyptic, first-person multiplayer shooter, Ravaged, has successfully managed to get through the phases of development and even land a publishing deal after a run on Kickstarter. Now, the game will officially be released through indie-publisher Reverb Publishing.

With a modest goal of $15,000 on Kickstarter, Ravaged is a game being designed by a small group of veteran game designers who worked on titles such as Battlefield and Frontlines. The play mechanics of Ravaged are very similar to other new-school shooters, but with vehicular combat tossed into the fray. Check it out in the trailer below.

The game is currently undergoing multiplayer beta testing, giving gamers a brief idea of what to expect when the game launches later this year, sporting 32-player battles, dynamic environments and high-end visual effects.

Doug Kennedy, president and CEO, Reverb Publishing commented in the press release, saying...
“From the first time our team played Ravaged we knew it was a standout title,” ...“This partnership with 2 Dawn Games is a perfect example of why we started Reverb Publishing. This very talented team has a great game and solid community as evidenced by its successful Kickstarter campaign. Reverb will now step in to help elevate the game’s visibility so gamers everywhere can jump into the action and log some kills.”

If Ravaged seems like the sort of game that you'd like to play and see it as a possible alternative to satiate your FPS cravings outside of a modern-day military shooter, you can learn more or sign-up for the closed-beta by paying a visit to the Official Website.
