Augmented Reality Delivers The Chestburster Experience Without All The Blood And Death

Cool as it may look in the Alien franchise, I'm fairly certain that none of us would ever want to go through the horror of having a chestburster launch out of our chest. In addition to the fact that it results in death (there's no real positive spin on that aspect), it also looks insanely painful and just the thought of an alien being making a home in your ribcage is ridiculously disturbing. Now, however, thanks to the technology of augmented reality, you can have a chestbuster experience of your without all of the terrible consequences.

Our sister site, Giant Freakin Robot, has dug up a video featuring an augmented reality t-shirt that lets you watch as a baby xenomorph pops out of your chest. Check it out!

So how do you buy a shirt of your own? If you go to the Finger Funk website you will find a link to where you can buy the shirt (it will run you $29.99) or you can just grab the tracking image HERE. From there all you need to do is go to either the Google Play or Apple App store (depending on what device you have) and have fun!

Naturally, I could end this article without also posting the original chestburster scene from Ridley Scott's Alien, so enjoy that below:
