I saw Changeling this morning at the New York Film Festival and found it really engaging, especially its lead performance from Angelina Jolie, who I've become so accustomed to seeing in tabloids that I almost let myself forget how talented an actress she is. Now the advertising campaign for the movie, which opens October 24, is ramping up, starting with a "featurette" hosted by Entertainment Tonight, of all people.
The featurette, which isn't even a minute and a half, intersperses bits of interviews with Jolie and director Clint Eastwood with the theatrical trailer. Eastwood explains that it's a true story, Jolie explains that it's about a woman standing up against a male-dominated system, but the soundbites are pretty much over before you know it. There's not much to learn here, though the gorgeously shot clips from the movie are always worth a look. Check out the video below, but don't be disappointed when it doesn't say anything at all.
