Exclusive The Collection Featurette Takes You Behind The Scenes

When you're making a horror movie, you surely want it to be horrifying and sometimes uncomfortable for the audience that buys a ticket. But when you're actually making that movie, it probably helps to have a little bit of fun on the set, so long as everyone's ready to start screaming once the cameras roll. That seemed to be the method for Marcus Dunstan, director of the new horror film The Collection, which opens this Friday.

In this exclusive featurette, you can see cast members Josh Stewart, Emma Fitzpatrick, Christopher McDonald and Andre Royo talk about Marcus's boundless energy on set, which included dancing along with the music in a club scene and, as you can see in the opening montage, gesticulating wildly all the time to get his point across. Take a look below:

In The Collection, a sequel to 2009's The Collector, Stewart reprises his role as Arkin, the only person to have escaped the clutches of the mysterious killer The Collector. Arkin is brought in to help a father (McDonald) after his daughter (Fitzpatrick) is kidnapped by The Collector and brought to an abandoned hotel that has become a deadly maze. You can pretty much imagine the carnage that comes from there. Unlike many horror movies, The Collection arrives in theaters with some strong reviews out of festivals-- and you can imagine it might be Dunstan's behind-the-scenes energy that sets the movie apart. See for yourself and check out The Collection in theaters today.
