Halo Script Reviewed!

By Joshua Tyler: 2005-11-06 00:00:00
Halo Script Reviewed! The script for a movie adaptation of Halo has leaked, and it's getting an absolute rave review.

Normally I'd be suspicious of anyone claiming to have a review of the Halo movie script, written by Jeff Garland exclusively under the direction of Bungie and Microsoft, and then subsequently sold at a ridiculous price for development at a movie studio under strict, strict conditions. But it's The Latino Review that claims to have read the thing, and they don't mess around.

What's interesting is that the guy reviewing it has never even played the game, and he's blown away by it. For a fan of the game like me, it's particularly heartening to hear from him that they actually have the balls to avoid showing Master Chief's face.

From Latino Review's description, the plot sounds like it sticks incredibly close to the amazing story of the first game. Not only that, but they seem to be trying to capture the flat out experience of playing it, and not by using lame, gimmicky first person shots but with flat out killer action sequences. If you've played the game, then you know that's a helluva thing.

If you like the game, or even just like Sci-Fi, or heck just like great movies, you've got to check out their script review. To read it, click here
