The LEGO Movie doesn’t make its way into theaters until February, but Warner Bros. continues to tease the film, keeping our interest piqued for the animated movie. The latest spot teases some of the many "unique characters" we should expect to see and offers some new glimpses of the movie, as we see LEGO cats on parade and Emmet getting ready in the morning.
Via Collider, the above spot also promotes UK movie site FineAnyFilm.com and shows off one of the more humorous moments from the recently released trailer, which involves Batman (Will Arnett) and Wonder Woman (Cobie Smulders) each witnessing their aircrafts getting blasted to smithereens.
And then there are the new bits, like the cats piling into the truck…
And Emmet turning his hair from its morning-messy state to a neatly combed look with just the pass of a brush…
Much of what we’ve seen from the trailers and other promos indicates that there will be plenty of familiar faces in LEGO form, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern included. There’s also talk of some possible Star Wars cameos, so here’s hoping!
As for the lead character, all signs point to Emmet being an incredibly chipper character, who’s full of smiles and thinks everything is awesome. And that’s not such a bad thing, as a little optimism can go a long way in carrying out acts of heroism. We’ll see how Emmet holds up when facing the wrath (and glue) of Will Ferrell’s Lord Business.
Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, The LEGO Movie ’s voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day and Nick Offerman. The film arrives in theaters February 7. Check out the previously released trailer for the film below:
