Not content to let the Mexicans hog all the Superman casting rumor fun, JoBlo.com has broken the story on who they think will be playing Lois Lane in the upcoming Bryan Singer film. They’re pitting their anonymous sources against everyone else’s anonymous sources to see who can come up with the best Super-Scoop. Why do all these sources have to hide? Come out into the light!

According to JoBlo.com, the actress playing Lois Lane is likely to be none other than former Ford model Evangeline Lilly. Don’t know her? Then you haven’t been watching the best new show on television, “Lost”! Evangeline plays island stranded, 25 year old, smoking hot convict “Kate”. She’s also absolutely perfect to play Lois Lane. From the four episodes of “Lost” that I’ve seen, she’s a solid actress with the ability to pull of the newsgirl confidence of Lane. As a bonus, she’s also drop dead gorgeous. Did I mention that she’s really really pretty?

According to JoBlo, she’s the leading contender among four different names flying around for the part. The other three actresses are supposedly more “known” names, so no doubt WB is pushing Singer to go with a proven commodity now that they’ve let him have his unknown for the role of Superman.
