Prometheus Blu-ray Trailer Shows Some Behind-The-Scenes Footage

There’s only a little over a week before Prometheus officially hits 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD. The epic release will range from a 4-Disc Collector’s Edition to a smaller 2-Disc set. Bonus Features will vary between releases, but one thing that won’t change is the film itself. Prometheus is a film with a crisp storyline and an even crisper picture and to celebrate the film’s October 9 release, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has released the official Blu-ray trailer, which gives us a pretty big hint about what the picture and sets will be like.

One of the things I liked most about the theatrical trailer fodder—well at least the early theatrical trailers—for Prometheus was that they kept a good chunk of the plot under wraps. The Blu-ray trailer doesn’t stick with this idea at all. In the trailer, called “Questions will be Answered,” we get to hear from some of the major players on set, who helped define the look and the premise of the hit film. The types of features that will be available on the extensive 4-Disc Collector’s Edition are revealed and some behind-the-scenes footage is even integrated into the trailer.

Last week we shared the full list of bonus features for the upcoming set, as well as the cover art for the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray. Now, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has also released the cover art for the non-3D Blu-ray edition of the film. The artwork keeps the same color scheme as the Collector’s Edition Disc, but it’s a little more telling. Keep in mind the full 7 hours of bonus features will only come with Collector’s Edition set, before checking out the regular Blu-ray cover art, below.
