Wolverine Movie

Fresh off of the knife in the back by Bryan Singer, 20th Century has bravely fought back with plans for not only X-men 3 but also the highly anticipated Wolverine spinoff!

Unfortunately, I have no clue how either will match up to the genius of the first two X-men flicks. David Benioff, the screenwriter for Troy has been hired to pen Wolverine. I’m kinda undecided about Benioff but he is apparently a X-men comic fan.

No contracts have been signed but this apparently hinges on Hugh Jackman reprising the role.

Jackman seems quite likely to sign on again and hopefully Fox would kill this if he doesn’t. God, can anybody else imagine Dougray Scott as Wolverine? (If you didn’t know, Scott had to back out of X-men due to conflicts with Mission Impossible: 2 . He chose to be the baddie in that instead of X-men. Bad move Dougray!)

As much as I love X-men, the Wolverine story is definitely the most interesting part of the movie. If we can't have X4, I'll take this for sure.
