Rob Pattinson made his second big media appearance since his recent break-up on Good Morning, America today to discuss his performance portraying Eric Packer, the lead character in the upcoming film rendition of Cosmopolis. Before the actor could even talk about the flick, however, he was bombarded about his recent break-up with Twilight costar Kristen Stewart, whom he left after the media caught wind the actress was having an affair with the much older, most certainly married director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders. The actor has joked about the break-up in the past, but this time around, he decided to skirt the issue even more clearly.

Robert Pattinson is clearly still hurting after he chose to break up with Stewart, even though he is actually responsible for severing ties. The 25-year-old actor is rumored to have drunk dialed Stewart in the days following their break-up and he later joked about the end of his relationship on The Daily Show.

Regardless, Pattinson has never come directly out to say how he was feeling, and it would have taken a miracle (or maybe NBCs Matt Laurer) to get him to say one teensy thing about K. Stew. Instead, Pattinson decided to remind GMA he was visiting to promote his new movie, not divulge in his past relationship.
"I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life and that's really the only reason people bring it up. The reason you go on to TV is to promote movies. That's the only way to do it."

One thing Pattinson did say is that he is doing alright. If anything comes out of the whole debacle, hopefully it will be that Cosmopolis does better than expected due to a loyal fanbase. Its probably the least we could do.
