Saved By The Bell's Mark-Paul Gosselaar Marries For Second Time
If you grew up in the 90s wanting to grow up and marry Zack Morris-- and hey, who didn't?-- we've got bad news for you today. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, the 90s hunk with the name that's impossible to spell, got married for the second time, a year after proposing to advertising executive Catriona McGinn. According to the report at People, the two wed at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, California on Saturday. The two will head to Italy for their honeymoon.
People doesn't have any photos of the big event yet, but since they got the exclusive announcement of the nuptials, you can imagine those are coming soon. And though we mostly think of Gosselaar from his Saved By The Bell days, he's got a pretty good acting gig going on right now as the co-star of TNT's Franklin & Bash, which is in the middle of its second season right now.
Gosselaar didn't wait much time to jump into his second wedding-- his divorce from Lisa Ann Russell, whom he married in 1996, was finalized just months before he proposed to McGinn. He has two children from his marriage to Russell, Michael Charles and Ava Lorenn, and given how much he promised to People that he was "too type-A" not to be involved in planning the ceremony, you can imagine the kids had a role in the nuptials as well.
No word on whether any of his Saved By the Bell castmates attended the wedding, but my best guess says People will have lots, lots more details very soon.
