Dylan McDermott is so handsome, it was surprising he didnt segue from the popular television series The Practice to leading man in bad J-Lo romantic comedies. McDermott has been busy, though. Since The Practice ended in 2004, he has made several movies and had key roles in the short-lived television series' Big Shots and Dark Blue.

Now, McDermott is set to star in FXs new pilot, American Horror Story, which was written by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, of Glee fame. Murphy is also set to direct the pilot, which will include roles for veteran actresses Connie Britton and Jessica Lange, as well as a co-starring role for creepy-as-hell True Blood actor, Denis OHare. According to Deadline, plot details have been wrapped up as tightly as a mummy. If you are worried about the Glee guys involvement, dont. The series should be more Alfred Hitchcock than Rocky Horror Picture Show. Besides, Kelly West, already assured us the project wont affect any Gleeks.
