Game Of Thrones Clips: Episode 6 - A Golden Crown
I’ve been looking forward to this Sunday’s Game of Thrones episode more than any other, particularly because Jane Espenson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica) is credited as a writer for this installment. We have some clips from the episode, neither of which are as spoilery as the title (for those who have read the book, anyway).
I won't spoil the title for the non-book readers but I will say that if "A Golden Crown" implies what I think it does, we're going to be seeing one of the more memorable moments from the book. The episode description actually gives more away than these clips do. That’s posted below the videos. What you will see in the videos is that it looks like Ned took a nap and Arya may have actually taken a bath. And if you look at the photo above, it appears Tyrion isn’t exactly enjoying the view from his prison cell in Eyrie.
Arya talks to Syrio…
Reinstated as the Hand, Ned sits for the King while Robert is on a hunt, and issues a decree that could have long-term consequences throughout the Seven Kingdoms. At the Eyrie, Tyrion confesses to his "crimes," and demands that Lysa give him a trial by combat. Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) apologizes to Sansa; Viserys receives his final payment for Daenerys from Drogo (Jason Mamoa).
Game of Thrones airs Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
