Rick And Morty Season 3 Will Premiere Way Sooner Than Expected
Although we have known for some time that Rick and Morty Season was coming, it turns out that Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's masterpiece will return to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim much sooner than expected.
Why Donald Glover Didn't Return To Community
One of the strangest things about the Community finale was that fan-favorite Donald Glover did not return for a final scene. Fans have spent the time since wondered why the episode didn't feature some kind of return for Troy Barnes, but now we have an answer.
Watch Rick & Morty Reenact A Hilariously Insane And NSFW Court Case That Should Be In Season 3
Rick and Morty is known for being off the wall crazy at times, but sometimes real life can be just as crazy. Check out this video of Rick and Morty perfectly reenacting a bizarre and hilarious recent court case.
Dan Harmon Is Producing A New Comedy And It Sounds Even Weirder Than You'd Guess
Dan Harmon is a producer who likes to get involved with different types of TV projects. His latest is another comedy with a pretty strange premise. Check it out.
The Sad Reason Community May Never Get Another Season
Community is the rare show that lived up to its own catchphrase by making it through the first half of its “Six Seasons and a Movie” goal. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the show is going to get that movie into production, and all hope for a Season 7 possibly just walked right out the door. Literally.
Rick And Morty Renewed For Season 3
Adult Swim’s brand of alternative comedy has not always appealed to everyone, but recently they seem to have found significant mainstream success. Although barely scratching the surface of its sophomore season, it seems we have confirmation that more Rick and Morty is on the way.
Community's Dan Harmon Finally Comments On The Show's Indefinite Future
An open letter was delivered on the showrunner’s Tumblr page, and while I’m going to be breaking down its most important parts inside, I would seriously highly recommend that you read the whole thing for yourself. It is a must-read for any Community fans, but also fascinating for any regular TV watcher.
Will Community Be Saved? Latest Reports Bring Bad News
Considering myself an optimist by nature, I'd be happy to report news that gave us some hope that Community might see its sixth season and a movie. Unfortunately, that's not what we're hearing. Multiple sources are reporting quite the opposite, in fact. It sounds like Netflix is out for reviving the show, and series creator Dan Harmon is reportedly ready to move on to other projects.
Adult Swim's Rick And Morty Gets Renewed For A Second Season
If you're not already watching Adult Swim's Rick and Morty you are doing something wrong. Created by Community's Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland (who also voices the two titular characters), the show has been delivering some of the best sci-fi adventure on television since it premiered at the start of last December, and - perhaps more importantly - every single episode has been hysterically funny.
Community's Ratings Weren't Great But There's Still Hope, Greendalians
Dan Harmon has returned to his flagship production, NBC’s kooky meta-comedy Community, but unfortunately the fans may not have followed suit. Oh god: are we living in the darkest timeline, after all? Last night’s season five premiere — which found Harmon back in the creative drivers’ seat after being fired prior to season four — featured two back-to-back episodes and averaged 3.4 million viewers. But there's hope to be had, still, people of Greendale!
Community's Jim Rash And Gillian Jacobs Do Their Best SNL Promo Impression
With the impending arrival of the fifth season of Community, the cast members and NBC have pulled out many of the Internet stops to ensure fans return to Greendale with aplomb. And that also includes Dean Pelton himself, Jim Rash, who — alongside Britta (Gillian Jacobs) — has taken the Saturday Night Live route of promotion while standing around the halls of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Considering how excited we are about the episode dubbed “Repilot,” it’s safe to say the Darkest Timeline is finally behind us.
Watch Dan Harmon's Rick And Morty: First Episode Debuts Online Ahead Of Adult Swim Premiere
Dan Harmon fans may have to wait until January for the new season of Community, but the series creator’s Adult Swim animated comedy Rick and Morty is headed to the small screen in less than a week. Rick and Morty is scheduled to premiere on Adult Swim on Monday, December 2, however Adult Swim has been gracious enough to drop the full first episode of the series online. Check it out above to see what kind of whacky adventures Harmon’s animated characters get up to.
Arrested Development's Mitchell Hurwitz To Guest Star On Community During Season 5
Most of Mitchell Hurwitz’ credits involve writing, including his series Arrested Development, but he’s been known to drop by a TV series here and there for a little guest appearance. He guest starred on Comedy Central’s Workaholics back in 2011 — the stars of the show in turn cameoed in Arrested Development’s fourth season this year — and Hurwitz appeared in Kroll Show this year. Coming next year, we’ll see him in an episode of Community.
Donald Glover Will Be In Fewer Than Half Of Community's Episodes Next Season
At the same time… couldn't he have just waited a few more months? Even the most optimistic fans assume this is Community's last season, and it's not like Glover couldn't have continued making music while planning a big tour for next summer once the show has wrapped. And Community relies more than many other comedies on the strength of its ensemble, putting the entire cast in the study group room and allowing them to play off each other
Community Season 4 Will Hit DVD In August
Among the few comedies to remain on the network for another season are Parks and Recreation and the likeable cult comedy, Community. Despite the Season 5 renewal, Community has yet to pop up on NBC’s schedule for next season. We’ll probably see the series hit the schedule again at midseason, but until then, diehard fans will be able to re-watch their favorite episodes when Community: The Complete Fourth Season hits DVD on August 6.
Dan Harmon Criticizes Season 4 Of Community, Calling It An Unflattering Impression
In the past, I've likened the fourth season of Community as the kind of season we see from a beloved sitcom that's begun to show its age, only in the case of Community, the show should actually still be reaching its prime. But with series creator Dan Harmon let go and new writers brought in to replace him, the comedy began to slip sooner than it might have. Listening to Dan Harmon talk about Season 4 on his recent podcast, during which the recently-returned Community showrunner admits to watching Season 4...
Dan Harmon Officially Returning To Community As Showrunner
It's officially official. Dan Harmon is coming back to Community. The comedy's creator actually confirmed that news last week, but now NBC has made that network-official, announcing that Dan Harmon would be returning as showrunner and executive producer of Community, and adding that Chris McKenna was also set to return as executive producer. The figurative band is getting back together.
Dan Harmon Confirms He's Coming Back To Community
Dan Harmon has confirmed that he's returning to Community. And we have Joel McHale to thank for this, apparently. Harmon let slip that there was a chance he might be returning to his NBC comedy series during a recording of his podcast Harmontown, however it was unconfirmed whether that was really going to happen. Today the former showrunner tweeted that "Yes yes yes! I'm back I'm back I'm back."
Could Dan Harmon Return To Community For Season 5?
We're existing in a timeline when Arrested Development has returned for a new season after nearly a decade off the air, so why couldn't this also be the timeline that brings Dan Harmon back to Community for another season? If that were the case, then Season 4 could be seen as a dream. Not a bad dream so much as one of those dreams where you didn't realize you were asleep until you woke up and you were kind of relieved just to have reality back.
Mike Tyson, Dan Harmon And More Get Program Pick Ups From Adult Swim
Following a landmark ratings year, Adult Swim is happy to bring back plenty of its programming and will be adding plenty of new content to its programming slate. The animation-based cable network will bring back 16 series in the coming months and has signed on for eight new programs. Among these are a few quarter-hour programs, a program from former Community showrunner Dan Harmon, and the most weirdtastic sounding program of them all—an animated comedy featuring boxer Mike Tyson.
