2007 Fall TV Preview: Journeyman On NBC

But here’s the big twist: Livia died nine years ago. And Dan finds himself inexplicably traveling through time to visit her. Needless to say, these physics-defying rendezvous with Livia create complications for Dan in his present-day life.

2007 Fall TV Preview: Two And A Half Men On CBS

When you think about it, it’s easy to see why Two and a Half Men is the highest rated sitcom on TV. We spend so much time during the week trying to keep up with complex, serialized dramas like Lost and 24 that it’s comforting to spend half an hour every Monday night with two brothers who we know will never change.

Busy Philipps Checks Out Of ER

County General’s perkiest intern will be turning in her stethoscope in the second episode of the hospital drama’s upcoming 14th season. Hope Bobeck, the character played by former Dawson’s Creek star Busy Philipps, will be departing to fulfill a Christian mission in South America. Hope’s departure will help make some room for the gaggle of returning cast members that are planning visits to ER this season.

2007 Fall TV Preview: Cold Case On CBS

Season 4 of this crime procedural ended on a cliffhanger that was as predictable as it was clichéd: Detective Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris) was left fighting for her life on an operating table after being shot during a hostage crisis at police headquarters. Cold case has always been praised for the way its story lines strike a delicate balance between the case of the week and the development of its main characters.

Drew Carey Ready For The Price Is Right Premiere

It was just a few short weeks ago that we were awaiting word on whether it would be George Hamilton, Ian Ziering, Mario Lopez, or (shudder!) Rosie O’Donnell leading us in Plinko upon Bob Barker’s retirement. Then comedian Drew Carey shocked the world when he announced on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that he had won the coveted hosting gig. Then he shocked us again

New ABC Family Pilot: Samurai Girl

ABC Family has just green lit its third pilot of the week, Samurai Girl, an action drama based on the popular series of young adult books by Carrie Asai. American Idol: Jordin Sparks Signs Record Deal

In a season where the true talents of the top 10 seemed to live in the shadow of Sanjaya’s pony hawk, it’s a little hard to remember that we actually crowned an American Idol at all this year. Today, 17-year-old Jordin Sparks set out to remind us all that this really is her now.

We’re All In This Together: High School Musical 2 Shatters Records

Mickey Mouse’s smile just got even bigger. 17.2 million viewers tuned in to see (SPOILER ALERT, in case you are one of the 12 people left in the world who didn’t see it), the East High Wildcats sing and dance their way through the summer job scene, Ryan stand up to big sis Sharpay, and Troy and Gabriella FINALLY kiss in Friday night’s world premiere of High School Musical 2.
