It’s Kind of a Funny Story, the other film Zach Galifianakis made this year that isn’t Due Date, is set for Blu-Ray and DVD release on February 8th, 2011. The comedy also features that emo-looking kid my sister is all hot and bothered about -- Keir Gilchrist, right, thanks Lauren -- and the really cute Emma Roberts who starred in 2007’s Nancy Drew. The film, while set in the mental ward of a hospital, is not exactly Girl, Interrupted. If the title plus the inclusion of Galifianakis didn’t tip you off, it’s kind of a comedy, and since it’s garnered decent reviews and is directed by Ryan Flick (Half Nelson), it’s probably worth a viewing.

Special features for the Blu-ray release will include “A Look Inside It's Kind of a Funny Story,” a view of the movie premiere in New York City, and a section called “My Scenes.”

Check it out so you can be that only person at the party who has seen the film. It’s always a good time to have better critical opinions.
