Factory, the distributor behind the complete series on DVD, has put a copy of My So-Called Life on eBay. Now clearly if you’re a fan, you probably already have a copy, and I know you can go to the store and pick up a normal copy pretty easily, but there’s a special reason to bid on this auctioned copy.
First, and most importantly, this eBay auction is in benefit of DonorsChoose.org. 100% of the revenue from the auction is going to the charity. Heck, Shout! is even covering the shipping charges, so all of your money goes to charity.
To give you reason to bid, this copy of My So-Called Life: The Complete Series is signed by cast members Claire Danes, Bess Armstrong, Wilson Cruz, Devon Gummersall, Tom Irwin, A.J. Langer, Devon Odessa and Lisa Wilhoit. That’s a six-DVD set, autographed by a large part of the cast (and I’m fairly certain you can stalk Jarad Leto to the point that you could get his autograph as well).
