Lost Boys Sequel Cover Is About As Impressive As You'd Expect
The artwork for Lost Boys: The Tribe, the ridiculously unnecessary sequel to The Lost Boys, has made its way online. Since the official artwork is now online, I’m guessing those dreams of having a brief theatrical release have gone by the wayside. That’s just as well. After that trailer, I’m not sure I want to see this on DVD, let alone on the big screen.
The artwork is pretty unremarkable, with a collage of characters and actors we don’t know on the top of the movie’s logo, and someone riding a motorcycle with crosses in the background below the logo. You can’t help but notice (as if we haven’t pointed it out before) that you have a Sutherland in the cast, even if it isn’t the right one. Of course, Corey Feldman is also included… although Corey Haim’s name isn’t anywhere to be seen.
Sadly, we don’t have the artwork, but if you head over to Bloody-Disgusting you can take a gander at a piece of DVD artwork that’s sure to clutter up DVD shelves for months to come.
Oddly, despite the artwork being out there, I haven't seen an official release date for this direct-to-DVD flick. Neither B-D or Amazon has a specific date listed, and nothing WB has sent us has included that either. Regardless, it's coming later this year.
