Mask Of The Ninja Karate Chops It's Way To DVD

It’ll be all about martial arts when Genius Products and RHI Entertainment release Mask of the Ninja on DVD April 14th.

When a powerful CEO is killed in an ambush, his company becomes vulnerable to a group of ninja assassins out to claim his secret code to a biological weapon. Will Detective Jack Barrett (Casper Van Dien) be able to save the day?

The film looks as dismal as it sounds. To be honest, there isn’t much more I can tell you about this film, but it seems as though that that may represent what you’ll get if you purchase this DVD. After watching a clip posted by RHI Entertainment, I get the feeling that Mask of the Ninja is an action film trying to do the best it can with a limited budget and lousy script. It’s perfectly fine to reuse similar plots, but there still needs to be some sort of unique twist. It doesn’t look like you’ll find that here.

Perhaps if you’re really into martial arts you’d find a hint of enjoyment in Mask of the Ninja Worse case scenario you can make a Christmas ornament out the disc. Or, if you’re really into the karate thing, some sort of flying disc weapon. After all, the DVD only costs $19.95.
