The Steam Greenlight project has turned out to be a very successful and worthwhile venture so far, we've not only witnessed indie games coming to the forefront of video game media news but we're also witnessing an influx of never-before-seen games getting some much needed media attention that they would have otherwise not received. Well, today, 21 games have officially been greenlit by Valve and some will be appearing on Steam soon enough.

While not every game is finished and complete, some are ready to be introduced to the store platform while others will use the added publicity to finish up the basics and prep for release.

In addition to Zero Point Software's Interstellar Marines making the jump from the Greenlight page to a potential place on the Steam store, the following games have also been greenlit.

* Afterfall InSanity Extended Edition
* AirBuccaneers
* Blockscape
* Contrast
* Fly'n
* Folk Tale
* Forge
* Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (Project Giana)
* Gnomoria
* Interstellar Marines
* Lost Story: The Last Days of Earth
* Miasmata
* Miner Wars 2081
* Octodad: Dadliest Catch
* Perpetuum
* POSTAL 2 COMPLETE (pictured above)
* Secrets of Grindea
* The Intruder
* The Stanley Parable: HD Remix

It's great knowing Miasmata and The Intruder have also made the cut. Folk Tale also really deserved a push, too. Games worth your attention have thankfully been approved by Valve so it means they really are attentive to what's happening within the community and how people are responding to certain games.
