It's a given that Valve's going to release downloadable content for each of its games. Now we've actually got specifics, though. Valve has just revealed the details on the upcoming downloadable content being released for Left 4 Dead.
The first DLC pack, dubbed the L4D Survival Pack, will be released this Spring. It introduces a new multiplayer mode called "Survival" as well as two new campaigns for Versus Mode. This downloadable content will also be packaged with a new Critic's Choice Edition of the game, which is set to hit stores this Spring.
Oh, and if you're kind of sick of the retail campaigns and want to make your own, Valve will be releasing Left 4 Dead content for the Source Software Development Kit. This update to the Source SDK will be free to owners of the PC version of the game and carries the same vague release date of "this Spring."
