Advertising for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel is absolutely everywhere. Cities are plastered with billboards, movie theaters are lined with posters, and televisions have been airing spots regularly. Audiences are eagerly awaiting Superman's arrival back in cinemas, but at this point they just want to see the damn movie already. Well, today we have one last final tease to share.
With the film arriving next weekend, Nokia has released a new trailer for Man of Steel that actually shows off quite a bit of new footage from the movie. Did you catch Jor-El's (Russell Crowe) dive off a building and an armored General Zod (Michael Shannon) threatening Martha Kent (Diane Lane)? There is an obligatory extended shot of someone looking at their Nokia phone, but what did you really expect from a sponsored preview? All together it's still a pretty awesome edit and should only increase anticipation.
Developed by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer, Man of Steel revisits the origin story of Superman (Henry Cavill) as he travels from Krypton to Earth, the planet where he would be raised by Jonathan (Kevin Costner) and Martha Kent to become the greatest hero the world has ever seen. But in the process of discovering his true identity he must face off against the powerful General Zod and discover where his allegiances lie. Amy Adams (as Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (as Perry White), Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix, and Richard Schiff co-star in the movie, which will be in theaters on June 14th.
