First Poster For Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris Infuses A Bit Of Starry Night
By Eric Eisenberg published

After seeing bad Photoshop job after bad Photoshop job and floating head after floating head, I often find myself wondering what happened to the art in poster design? It would seem that somebody took me a little too literally. Forget about Saul Bass or Boris Vallejo. Now Vincent Van Gogh is getting into the movie poster game.
Yahoo! has premiered the first one-sheet for Woody Allen's star-studded Midnight in Paris, and you might notice that Owen Wilson is walking through a pretty famous painting. The editing job isn't the greatest in the world - Wilson looks like he was copy+pasted into place - but I do appreciate the effort hear, particularly how it blends the painting with photography. Also, considering that the plot is about a couple "forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better," it seems to fit the theme of the movie.
