First Trailer For the Allen Ginsberg Biopic Howl

It takes a special kind of acting talent to go from playing a pothead drug dealer one year to the Harvey Milk's boyfriend the next, and not only was Franco able to do both in 2008, but he did it phenomenally. The actor most certainly rates as one of the greatest talents under the age of 35 and it looks like he's ready to show us again with his performance as poet Allen Ginsberg in Howl.
The A.V. Club has posted the trailer for the film, due out September 24, and while the cast may show off names like Jon Hamm, Mary Louise Parker, David Strathairn, Jeff Daniels, and a host of others, it is already apparent that Franco is the one to watch in this film. He may not have matched the exact look of the icon (see David Cross' performance in I'm Not There for that), but damn if it doesn't seem like he's got everything going.
Head on over to The A.V. Club to check out the trailer.
