Got McCarthy?

Maybe I'm crazy, but there was a time when I really thought Jenny McCarthy was going to be something. So far her biggest accomplishment has been a movie whose name I'm not sure I can even spell correctly, Baseketball. Boy was I wrong.

But she's still around and working. Which is good since I still have these fond feeling for her and would hate to see her broke and living underneath someone's porch in West Hollywood. In fact, she's got a starring role in her own movie coming, a rated R comedy called Dirty Love. Not only is she starring in it, but she wrote it. The film is supposedly disgustingly raunchy. No surprise coming from Jenny. What are the chances that it's actually funny? We're probably lucky the title isn't Muddy Love.

Here's the official synopsis: "Sometimes a girl has to get a little down and dirty before she can find pure love. In the slapstick comedy, Dirty Love, Jennifer McCarthy is gorgeous, goofy, and gross all at once in this hilarious take on one woman’s chaotic quest for true love. It’s a knowing, funny, trashy, guilty pleasure, in the spirit of Porky’s and National Lampoon, only this time, it’s through the eyes of one of America’s cover girls: Jenny McCarthy. Rebecca (Jenny) is devastated when she comes home one night and finds Richard (Victor Webster), her supermodel boyfriend, engaged in sexual acrobatics with another woman in their bed. To mend her broken heart, she takes a strange and wild trip of funny sexual encounters that includes putting basses in asses and pulling hanker-chiefs out. With the help of a bossy psychic and her off-beat friends, Rebecca finds that the path to true love is right in front of her."

Yeah I know, didn't do much for me either. But maybe the film's official poster will help. Take a look at it below, and watch for the movie in limited release September 23. Carmen Elektra is in it! Pray for it to rain tiny pink bikinis.
