I still hate it that a stupid droid named Grevious is going to be responsible for slaughtering all the Jedi instead of Darth Vader. What’s more I hate the fact that I already know that, even though Star Wars Episode III doesn’t exist yet as a film. Thanks for depressing me Cartoon Network.
Still, if a crap ass, lame CGI robot has to run around further weakening Star Wars, it is nice to know that he might have a really cool voice. Originally Gary Oldman was to give words to the future villain, but after a lot of confusing mumbo jumbo involving SAG completely backed out.
Now, AICN is reporting that it may be Treebeard stepping in for robotic vocal duties. Supposedly, in an Australian Q&A session, John Rhys-Davies dropped the following hint:
“I'm doing some next month, in fact. Let's say the working conditions are ...Grevious."
On second thought, that’s not much of a hint. What kind of flaming nerds have we become when we get all freaked out and hyper about this? Why am I even reporting it? That’s it, I’m deleting this entire news report. This isn’t news, this isn’t even a decent rumor. This is retarded.
