Michael Sheen Is Tron: Legacy's Bad Guy?

Tron: Legacy has a bad guy. Michael Sheen was confirmed to be in the film by Disney during the busy Comic Con weekend, and word is from Coming Soon that he's playing the villain.

We're not sure yet exactly how Sheen’s bad guy character will fit. However, he’d be a perfect replacement for fellow Brit David Warner, who played the Master Control Program’s top henchman Sark. Will Sheen be Sark 2.0, or some entirely new, evil, inter-computer force? In the past Sheen described his character as “not a person at all” which definitely makes him some sort of computer program and not an individual in the real world. We’ll let you know when we know.

Tron: Legacy is headed for a fall 2010 release. It’s the story of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
