Subscribe To See Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Don Jon In New York City Next Monday! Updates
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is famous for many things, from the long-haired kid on Third Rock From The Sun to the teen detective of Brick to the revealed at the end of The Dark Knight Rises. But as he eases into his 30s the former child star is getting ready to change his image in two very dramatic ways: playing the tank-top wearing greaseball at the center of the new film Don Jon, and directing himself in the role.

You've probably heard about Don Jon by now, from either its Sundance premiere (back when it was called Don Jon's Addiction) or its SXSW appearance, or even the constant buzz around the performances from the likes of Tony Danza and Scarlett Johnasson, both of whom put in performances remarkably different from what we've seen from them. Many of you will have to wait until Don Jon opens on September 27 to check it out for yourself… but if you're in the New York area, your chance will come a lot sooner.

We're co-hosting a special advance screening of Don Jon in New York City next Monday, August 26th at 7:30 p.m., and we want YOU to attend. To enter, just send an e-mail to [email protected] with your full name in the subject line; we'll respond with the information about the time and location of the screening, and we'll have your name on the list at the door, along with a plus-one. If you don't hear from us, that means the list is full-- sorry! If you RSVP, please make sure you can actually show up! We're sharing the theater with Film School Rejects, and the last thing we want is for their fans to outnumber ours.

Check out the trailer for Don Jon below to see what you're in for, and we'll see you in New York City next Monday!
