Topher Grace, Paul Rudd And Kristen Wiig Cast In Bobby Blue Sky

Love them as we might, everyone is screwed up in one way or another by their parents. Be it genetically transferred anger issues, too much praise or attention, or failure to give you a Red Ryder BB-gun that one Christmas, everyone takes the good and the bad from their upbringing and it shapes them as a person. In the new film Bobby Blue Sky, Topher Grace, Paul Rudd and Kristen Wiig will have to handle their own personal issues.

Pajiba reports that the three have been cast in the project, based on the script by Parks and Recreation writer Emily Kapnek. In the film, Grace, Rudd and Wiig will play siblings who have had their lives drastically altered by their father using their younger brother as a character in a wildly successful children's book. The youngest brother, presumably named Bobby, incidentally becomes famous as a result and the three older siblings try to come to terms with it.

Of the three actors, Grace will certainly be viewed as the weak link, but ignoring his character's bizarre twist in this summer's Preadators and the horrible treatment of Venom in Spider-Man 3, he isn't a horrible actor. Remember how he made us laugh on That 70's Show? Perhaps this will be his chance to redeem himself.
