Written by life coach Dr. David L. Cook, Golf’s Sacred Journey tells the tale of a young golfer who has lost his way and an aging farmer who helps him get back on track. Created by Cook as a fictional amalgamation of many of the athletes he’s known and their coaches, the book is now being turned into a film following the same easy-to-write-off storyline.

And yet,Seven Days in Utopia doesn’t look half bad. Sure it looks a little generic, and it’s a golf movie so its interest level can only go so high, but it could be something pretty enjoyable if you like the sport. It reminds me of The Proposal, not because of the story, but because it could easily have been a cliche rom-com but it’s actually pretty funny.

Maybe it’s just my deep-seated love for Robert Duvall or the vampire crush I have on True Blood's Deborah Ann Woll, but Seven Days In Utopia has potential despite its standard comeback/love story tropes. Scope out the trailer below which premiered over on the film’s official web page.
