Most of the news stories around here are skewed by whoever is reporting it. That’s just part of the flair and style of this website. A lot of the time, the person most excited about a project jumps on any news about it, presenting a positive opinion about news. Then sometimes news stories pop up that need to be covered by whoever is available, so you might get a less than excited opinion about a project. Sometimes you agree with us, sometimes you don’t.
Then you have a third category, where a news story pops up, something that obviously needs to be reported, but nobody is excited about. The story just kind of sits there waiting for some attention, with nobody interested in covering it. Since this news story has been out there for a couple of days, I can only guess it falls into that category. So it is with a few yawns and dull excitement (aided by my morning coffee) that I give you: the poster for Underworld 2.
Yay... Underworld 2... a sequel to the low budget vampire/werewolf movie that wasn’t that great. I have to mention the low budget because the people who did enjoy Underworld always use that as an excuse when you ask why the movie wasn’t cooler. “Oh, the effects sucked!”, “Dude, they did not. The movie was made for five pennies and a bowl of monkey dung!”. Money, schmuney. The first movie was so bad White Wolf decided not to sue for being ripped off, because they didn’t want to claim something that was so bad was stolen from them.
