I know I say it a lot, but I’m not sure I truly believed it until now… America really is sick of comic book superhero movies. Either that or people suddenly started paying attention to horrible reviews. Whatever the case, Elektra tanked hard, debuting at #5 for the weekend and destined for a fast slide right out of theaters. Smart move sticking with “Alias” Jen. Your film career is looking only slight less rosy than that of your boyfriend Ben.

The most heartening thing about this week’s Box Office is In Good Company’s debut at #4, despite being in well under 2000 theaters. It’s a strong showing for a great movie, hopefully it’ll only climb higher next week in the face of weak January releases.
