Pixar has kind of hiccuped these past two years with neither Cars 2 and Brave getting the same kind of critical love the studio's past projects have, but Walt Disney Animation Studios is getting on a bit of a roll again. In started in 2010 when they released the surprisingly great fairy tale Tangled, and continued last year with the loveable and tragically under-seen Winnie The Pooh. Three years in a row of critical hits would be a great streak for the studio, so one can imagine that they have their fingers crossed for Wreck-It Ralph. And from what we've seen of the film so far, we're definitely hoping that it works out too.

The trailers for the upcoming computer animated video game movie have made it look imaginative, original and great, and now a new clip has arrived online that should put a smile on your face. It's a pretty simple scene featuring the titular Ralph (John C. Reilly) and his first encounter with Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), a character living in the candy-themed racing game Sugar Rush. Directed by Rich Moore and written by Jennifer Lee and Phil Johnson, the movie centers on a video game villain named Wreck-It Ralph who just wants to change the record and be a hero for once. In order to do so, he leaves his own game in search for another where he can get a medal and be celebrated for his efforts. Jack McBrayer co-stars as the voice of Fix-It Felix, the main star of Ralph's native game and Jane Lynch voices Sergeant Calhoun, a character from a Halo-type game called Hero's Duty. Wreck-It Ralph will be in theaters November 2nd and you can head over to our Blend Film Database to see news, posters, images and more from the movie.
