John Wick 2 Trailer Teaser Suits The Assassin Up For Action

When going to a special event, it's important to don the right clothes for the occasion. In John Wick's case, he's prepping to go on another killing spree, but still taking time to don the proper attire. That's made clear in the teaser for the upcoming John Wick: Chapter Two trailer, one of the many previews we've been eagerly anticipating. Check it out!
Like other teasers, John Wick: Chapter Two's is just a snippet of what's to come, but it does help set the stage for what to expect from the sequel. After visiting a suit shop for Rome and saying that he's attending a "social affair," he then proceeds to an armory in the area, where the finely tailored attendant wishes him enjoyment for his upcoming party. A party for which John is so generously bringing some of his best guns. For those eager for more, not to worry. The full John Wick: Chapter Two trailer will debut this Saturday at New York City Comic-Con, though ideally it will be available online soon after.
This trailer is just one of the goodies that the John Wick folks has ready for its NYCC presentation. Keanu Reeves and other members of the cast will be at the John Wick: Chapter Two panel for a Q&A, and a teaser will also be screened for the VR first-person action game John Wick Chronicles. Considering how successful 2014's John Wick was, scoring many positive reviews and hauling in over $86 million worldwide off a $20 million budget, it's no wonder that the sequel is kicking promotion to the next level. That being said, it's that trailer that is undoubtedly the biggest draw, giving us more of Reeves as the practically-legendary assassin and a taste of the intense action that director Chad Stahelski teased, including perhaps some of the opening car chase sequence.
Following the events of the first movie (where he gained a new dog companion), John Wick: Chapter Two will see the eponymous protagonist being pulled out of retirement yet again and traveling to Rome to help an old friend take control of a "shadowy international assassins' guild." As per usual, this means he'll come into conflict with other talented killers. Along with Keanu Reeves, the returning cast includes Bridget Moynahan as Helen Wick, John's deceased wife, Ian McShane as the Continental Hotel owner Winston, John Leguizamo as car chop-shop mogul Aurelio, Lance Roddick as Continental Hotel concierge Charon; and Thomas Sadoski as John's police officer friend Jimmy. The new players include Common as one of the leads villains, Laurence Fishburne as The Bowler King, David Patrick Kelly as Charlie, as well as Ruby Rose, Riccardo Scamarcio and Peter Stormare in undisclosed roles.
John Wick: Chapter Two hits theaters on February 10, 2017.
