Bones is a Fox drama series that follows Dr. Temperance Brennan, a highly skilled forensic Anthropologist who often works alongside Special Agent Seeley Booth, an FBI Homicide investigator to help solve murder cases that involve bones. As Booth is a down to earth kind of guy and Brennan is pretty straight forward. Booth is funny and laid back, while Brennan is usually serious and has difficulty accessing her sense of humor. Their differing personalities make for an interesting pair.

With the help of Brennan’s brilliant team, which includes Angela (an artist who specializes in reconstructing facial features and crime scenes), Jack, the “bug guy,” Cam, the coroner and murder profiler Dr. Lance Sweets (who also lends his psychological advice to Brennan and Booth), the quirky group comes together nicely on a regular basis to solve crimes.

When the fourth season begins, Brennan and Booth are in London and are asked to help out with a high-profile murder investigation.

I haven’t watched Bones regularly but every time I do catch an episode, I enjoy it. I especially love the addition of John Francis Daley to the cast. Having been a huge fan of Freaks and Geeks, I was glad to see that he got a role in a successful series. His role as the psychologist in the series, which includes providing a bit of hilarious couples therapy for Brennan and Booth is great and I really need to watch season 3 from start to finish. Even though I’m not totally caught up on the series, that’s not going to stop me from checking out the season premiere of Bones. I think the show sort of hides in the shadow of House but it really is a good series that’s worth checking out if you haven’t already.
