The Riches follows a family of Irish-American travelers from Louisiana who make money conning people. In the first season, the Malloys leaves their extended family behind in an effort to save their daughter from an arranged marriage. Early on in their trip they get into a car accident and decide to assume the identities of the family that was killed in the accident. Wayne, Dahlia, Cael, Di Di and Sam move into the Riches house and take over their lives. Since no one in their new rich neighborhood had ever met the real Riches, this turned out to be easier than you'd think. Eventually though, their lies and their past began to catch up with them.

In the second season, the Malloys plan to hit the road and leave the life of The Riches behind them but after spending some time living the good life, they find that it’s not so easy to return to their traveling ways.
I started watching this series last season when it first premiered but then I fell behind and just haven’t gotten around to getting caught up on it. What I did see of it, I liked and I definitely see why the series is a good fit for FX. Like every other FX show, the characters all have their flaws but they’re not totally unlikable. And the series definitely has its dark and twisty side but it’s still fun to watch. Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard are fantastic as Wayne and Dahlia and the kids are great as well.
