Arrow Episode 2 - Honor Thy Father

Arrow, The CW's new superhero series with DC Comics, debuted to big numbers last week and it will be interesting to see if the ratings hold for the second episode. The pilot was not without its problems, including some stiff acting and storytelling, but the series featured a few impressive action sequences that should have the key demographic (at least) coming back to "Honor Thy Father."

The second episode also sports the first appearance of a well-known DC villain with comic book regular Kelly Hu guest starring as China White. Take a look at her baddie battling with Stephen Amell's Arrow, as well as the police beginning their vigilante manhunt, in this preview for tomorrow night's installment.

The preview is pretty intense, as the 'manhunt gets a women's touch' with both the police and China White providing ample problems for Ollie, all while he takes some time to visit a cemetery to make more city-saving promises to his dead father. For those unfamiliar with the source material, China White or Chien Na-Wei was introduced in "Green Arrow: Year One" and she's a drug kingpin that doesn't mind fighting her own fights. As you can see. Hu is also a great great choice for the guest spot, having been a handful for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in X2, and I'm looking forward to watching her mix it up with Stephen Amell.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Based on DC Comics' "Green Arrow," the series stars Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland and Colin Donnell.
