Covert Affairs Gets Picked Up For Season 2

If you’ve been enjoying USA’s spy-tastic series Covert Affairs, there’s good news! Word is, the network has decided to pick it up for a second season.

Covert Affairs is a USA original series that follows a young, female CIA agent. Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello posted the news earlier today, stating that the summer series starring Piper Perabo was given the greenlight for Season 2. Given the show’s success in the ratings, earning the Number 1 spot for cable shows on Tuesday nights, this news isn’t all that surprising but, like the series itself, it’s good!

As for what’s to come as Season 1 continues, Entertainment Weekly ran a story and a steamy clip from next week’s episode that features a steamy train scene between Christopher Gorham’s character and his ex-girlfriend. Check that out (as well as a visually pleasing photo of Gorham with his shirt off) here.
