Girls Season 2, Episode 2: Shoshanna Tells A Story In Clip From I Get Ideas

What's going on with Shoshanna and Ray? That is one of the questions posed during last Sunday's second season premiere of Girls. The start of their relationship wasn't exactly conventional, what with Shoshanna accidentally smoking crack and Ray helping her out and then eventually developing feelings for her, but the two seem to have formed a connection since then, and based on this clip from Sunday night's episode, there's even more ahead for them.

In the clip below, Ray and Shoshanna are sharing a bit of pillow talk together. And in true Shoshanna fashion, the conversation is probably as unique as it can possibly get.

If it weren't so completely like Shoshanna to share her most bizarre, rambly thoughts, I might think these two are on something, but knowing her from past conversations in this series, all of this talk about pigs just seems like the kind of thing Shoshanna would talk about, and Ray appears to be very into it - or into her. He seems completely smitten by her. And considering this is Shoshanna's first serious relationship (or it could be, assuming it continues to veer into relationship territory), that seems like a good thing. All evidence leans toward Ray being a good guy. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but I think someone on this show deserves a happy, healthy relationship, at least for a little while.
