Homeland Season 3 Poster And Banners: Pledge Allegiance
Loyalty seems to be a recurring theme in the promotions we've seen for the upcoming third season of Homeland. One of the recently released teasers was titled "Who do you trust?" and now we have the above poster, which states, "Pledge Allegiance." Allegiance to what? Or more to the point, to whom? The American flag looming in the background suggests where their loyalty should be, as Carrie (Claire Danes) and Saul (Mandy Patinkin) are both CIA, and Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) is a retired marine. Does country come above all else? The answer to that question is complicated…
We know that the third season of Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon's thrilling Showtime series will pick up in the aftermath of the terror attack that took place at the end of the second season. Nicholas Brody is on the run and a wanted man. And Carrie and Saul are trying to clean up the messes that have been made in their personal and professional lives. The first two seasons delivered some of the more exciting and suspenseful television we've seen in a while, and from what we've glimpsed so far in the teasers and trailer, there are plenty more thrilling and emotional moments ahead. What's coming up for Carrie, Saul and Brody? We have about a month to wait to find out.
Here's the trailer and the full Season 3 description.
Homeland returns for Season 3 on September 29 on Showtime.
Check out some banners and a high-res version of the poster. Each image is said to capture the emotional state of the characters.
