Hung Preview: Second Season Premieres Tonight On HBO

Hung’s second season is set to premiere tonight on HBO. If you’re among the many who’ve been anxiously awaiting the series’ return, we have a few details about the episode as well as some videos to share with you.

Hung follows Ray Drecker, a well endowed man who’s down on his luck until he sort of stumbles into the world of male-prostitution. While he started off with rookie-pimp Tanya finding him clients, he’s since formed a co-partnership with Lenore, who has a list of upscale women who are more than happy to share their wealth in exchange for a little fun-time with Ray. This presents a problem on both the business and a personal end for Tanya who, like Ray, is still new to this job.

Below is the description for the second season premiere episode and further down is the trailer, a behind-the-scenes look at the show and a catch-up video for those of you who need a refresher course on the first season.

“Ray’s (Thomas Jane) new co-partnership with Tanya (Jane Adams) and Lenore (Rebecca Creskoff) gets off to a rocky start when he “holds back” during a tryst with Claire (Kathryn Hahn), a client, so he turns to Tanya for advice. Later, Ray and other teachers picket the school in anticipation of summer layoffs. Jessica (Anne Heche), already filled with doubts about her marriage to Ronnie (Eddie Jemison) and refusing to take calls from Lenore after her experience with the no-show gigolo (Ray), is stung by criticism from Darby (Sianoa Smit-McPhee) and Damon (Charlie Saxton). Looking to get an edge on Lenore and regain Ray’s trust, Tanya ventures into a tough neighborhood for liberating pimping advice from a real pro.”
