If you’re like me, there’s a good chance you’re missing Kiefer Sutherland’s furrowed brow on your TV screen each Monday night this winter. While we may not be getting Jack Bauer back any time soon, there’s a chance we could be seeing Sutherland in a new role on Fox if the pilot he’s signed on for gets picked up.

According to Deadline, Sutherland has been cast in the Fox drama pilot Touch. Created by Heroes’ Tim Kring, the pilot follows a man who finds out his autistic, mute son can predict the future. Sutherland will be playing the role of the psychic kid’s father.

It’ll be interesting to see if this goes to series and with Sutherland on board, there’s a good chance of that. I’m also curious to know more about Sutherland’s character and how he reacts to the things his son predicts. With so many seasons of 24 under his belt, it’s not difficult to picture him running around trying to prevent catastrophes.
