Kitchen Nightmares Picked Up For Third Season

While the second season of Kitchen Nightmares is currently airing now, Fox has opted to give the series another season. Apparently, there are still restaurants out there in desperate need of Gordon Ramsay’s expertise.

Fox announced today that they’ve ordered up a third helping of Kitchen Nightmares. The series follows Michelin-starred Chef Gordon Ramsay (Hell’s Kitchen), as he visits a different restaurant each week and brings his expertise in the business of running a restaurant to the place in the hopes of helping the establishment improve and in some cases, completely reinvent itself. As Ramsay’s known for his blunt, too the point (and occasionally brutally honest) opinions, getting to see the reactions of the restaurant staff and owners to the changes Ramsay thinks need to be implemented is often just as entertaining as getting to see whether or not the changes made make any improvement to the restaurant.

For those of you who are looking forward to Friday night’s episode, below is the episode description as posted by Fox:

“In the next all-new episode of this season’s KITCHEN NIGHTMARES, airing Friday, March 19(9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, Chef Ramsay visits Mama Rita’s, a struggling Mexican restaurant in Newbury Park, CA. Owner Laura dreams of honoring her grandmother’s cooking legacy, but finds the transition from a successful catering business to restaurant ownership challenging. With a chaotic atmosphere in the kitchen and a lack of leadership from management, this restaurant faces foreclosure if Gordon is unable to help Laura’s cooking staff add some spice back into their business.”
